How we feel about concrete
While concrete been used for thousands of years as a building material, for much of that, it was considered purely functional. Increasingly, people now appreciate the diversity and character that only concrete can uniquely offer to a space. Concrete and well-connected complementary materials can be so versatile - either warming a space - or making it cool and zen.
At Roxnstix Custom Concrete Design, we love designing with it, working with it, and most importantly, working with our clients to create unique pieces that add to the character of their home or workplace. Nuances can transform it from cool and architectural to warm and natural. Customizing the piece with the right shape, tone, colour, exposure, and complementary materials can make a concrete table, countertop, panel, stair tread, shelf, planter, or other feature / accessory stand out and make a statement.

Our Story
Roxnstix Concrete Design is the combination of an appreciation of many things - history, design, art, and solid, well-built, things that last. The name comes from the early days of my interest in photography, when my significant other remarked that I take a lot of pictures of rocks and sticks. I guess I like rocks and sticks. Lines, shapes, shadows, color, light.
Concrete, in the hands of someone who loves to play with it and figure out a solution to a challenge, can be a wonderful medium to work with. It allows me to continue my fascination with lines, shapes, shadows, color, and light.
